This beautiful antique decorative teak lounge suite was badly damaged in a fire. The cost to re cane this lounge, by the original hand woven method would have been extremely time consuming and would be beyond the customers budget to re place. So with careful consideration, the pre woven rattan webbing became a viable option. Yes it changes the design and the authenticity of the lounge, but the final outcome after the complete restoration was met with an overwhelming appreciation from its owner. Job well done.

This worn out old wicker babies cradle has definitely seen better days and as it's an heirloom, need some TLC. As you can see from the images the cradle was stripped and the broken wicker was carefully replaced. This was quite a time consuming task but well worth the effort. The cradle then was given a fresh coat of white lacquer.

This Indonesian Steamer Chair had a well worn and broken seat. The rest of the cane was in really good condition, so new cane was carefully woven and married to the old cane. A great result.

This wicker bird feeder was a little shabby and well weathered over the years as you can see. Some of the birds only cherped as the food was disappearing through the gaps. So a ll of the birds got together and asked me to help. And I did. I gave some wicker tweetment and now the birds are happy singing again. Ahhh!
